Marina Kyriakou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, University of Piraeus. She holds a PhD in Marketing, a Master's Degree in Business Administration - Total Quality Management (MBA - TQM) and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus. Previously, she has been working at the Athens University of Economics and Business, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the University of West Attica and the University of Strathclyde, lecturing in undergraduate and postgraduate programs and participating in co-funded projects. In addition, since 2012, she has been working as a marketing consultant, participating in strategic planning projects, developing marketing plans, conducting consumer behaviour surveys and performing market studies. Her research interests are evolving around marketing strategy, marketing planning, sales, marketing research and international marketing. Her research work has been published in international academic journals and conference proceedings, and she was a member of the organizing committee of the 14th EMAC Regional Conference held at the University of Piraeus in 2023. She is member of the American Marketing Association, the European Academy of Marketing, the Greek Academy of Marketing and the Economic Chamber of Greece.
