Markos Tsogas is Associate Professor of International Marketing at the University of Piraeus, holding a PhD from the Dept of Business Administration from the same University. He has been appointed Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Kingston Business School for the period 1998 to 2002 and is the author of various articles in scientific journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, The Journal of Consumer Marketing, The Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, The International Journal of Market Research, etc. and has presented papers at numerous international conferences. His research interests are evolving around international market selection and segmentation, international marketing research, industrial and tourism marketing and value creation. He is member of the Academy of International Business since 1992, the European Academy of Marketing, the American Marketing Association, a Diploma member of the Market Research Society of UK and elected board member of the Greek Academy of Marketing since 2011. He is the National Representative of Greece at EMAC. Markos is the TEDx Curator for the University of Piraeus and organizes TheTedxUniversityofPireaus events for the past 7 years.

Athanasios Kouremenos

Thanos Kouremenos is Emeritus Professor of Marketing at the Dept of Business Administration, University of Piraeus. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has been elected member of the Governing Body of the University of Piraeus, Head of the Dept. of Business Administration for more the 8 years and Head of the MBA – Tourism Management. His papers have appeared, among others, in International Journal of Research in Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Euromarketing, International Journal of Bank Marketing and Tourism and Hospitality Research. He was responsible for the Strategic Plan and Marketing Research of a new “Satellite City” in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Strategic Plan of the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank and of the Hellenic Chamber of Tourism, among others. He is the recipient of an Outstanding Paper Award from the Academy of Marketing Science (USA) and the Life Achievement Award, from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Professor Kouremenos has served in the Organizing Committees of both EMACs in Athens, back in 1989 and 2006.

Marina Kyriakou

Marina Kyriakou holds a PhD from the University of Piraeus and a MBA - TQM from the same University. She is currently an adjunct Lecturer at the University of Piraeus and acts as an external advisor to the Quality Assurance Unit. Her research interests are being focused on Strategic and International Marketing and has presented her work in most EMAC conferences since 2016. Her research has been published in international journals, such as International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, and also presented in EMAC, AMA and AMS Conferences. In addition to her academic activity, she is constantly active in the field of consulting, undertaking the coordination and management of numerous projects on behalf of private companies and public organizations.
