Panos Chountalas is Assistant Professor at the University of Piraeus, Department of Business Administration. He holds a PhD, MBA and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. He is also Teaching Associate at the Hellenic Open University, the University of Thessaly, and the University of the Peloponnese. His scientific publications have appeared in high-quality refereed journals (BPMJ, EJOR,
JCP etc.). He has extensive professional experience in business consulting and has been a researcher in various funded international research projects (EQUAL, INTERREG, etc.). In the recent past he was also the owner/director of an innovative e-publishing company. His current research interests include Business Process Management, Standardized Management Systems, Operations Management, Total Quality Management, Risk Management, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
