Ms Victoria Pekka - Economou is a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Piraeus, Greece and Director of MSc in ‘Law & Economics’. She mainly teaches Industrial Economics, Microeconomics and Managerial Economics. She has also taught Macroeconomics, Economic Analysis and “Gender Equality in the Business World”. As a result of the University’s of Piraeus participation in the Erasmus-Socrates program incoming students from European countries attended the Gender Equality courses as well.

Dr Victoria Pekka Economou holds a Ph.D from the University of Macedonia-Thessaloniki - Greece and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Victoria University of Manchester, UK. A number of about 50 articles have been published in journals, academic issues and international conferences proceedings.
